Prayer is our Posture.
Prayer is the first thing we do. It isn’t an afterthought. We receive power and direction when we pray. We pray to our Father, knowing He listens and cares.
21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: September 12–October 2
21 Days of Prayer & Fasting is woven into the fabric of Kairos Church. We believe that life with Jesus grows through prayer and so, we intentionally set aside seasons to focus on the disciplines of prayer and fasting in community.
Learn MoreThis fall, we are reading The Wesley Challenge: 21 Days to a More Authentic Faith by Chris Folmsbee as our daily meditation. Each day you’ll read the short devotional (3-4 pages) and then spend some time in prayer.
Over 200 years ago, John Wesley started a small group that met for regular prayer, bible study, and discipleship. In his private devotions and within his small group, he’d use these questions to “methodically” examine his spiritual life to help him be spiritually accountable in the faith and encourage growth in his commitment to Christ. As we examine our lives through these 21 questions, may this season sharpen our commitment to live life with Jesus, community and purpose.
